HER Table Talk
HER Table Talks is a welcoming space for all women, girls, and femme-identifying individuals to gather, learn, and engage in meaningful conversations about the issues that impact us across BC’s Interior and beyond. Centering the voices and experiences of women in our communities, HER Table Talks features expert-led discussions from the human service, and health sectors, legal clincs, equity researchers, and women in leadership. Together, we unpack the Pink Elephant Topics—the critical yet often overlooked women’s issues that deserve our attention.
Talks range from:
Health + Wellness
Human Rights Cafés
Legal Rights
Financial Literacy
Employment Barriers and Workplace Inequities
Social and Environmental Inequities and Challenges
Violence Against Women and Girls
Women + Culture
Upcoming Awareness Initiatives
New Research
HER Table Talks are facilitated by mental health professionals, people with lived experience and industry experts from other organizations and businesses. Interested in presenting at one of our Talks? Please reach out.
We also welcome academics to bring research, to discuss with the table and to join the conversation.

Good Girlfriends BookClub
This is a space where women come together to read, learn, and grow. Our book selections focus on the stories, struggles, and triumphs of women, helping us understand our place in society, women in leadership, how to take up space, and how to empower and uplift one another.
We meet on the last Friday of every month from 6 PM - 730 PM, where a light lunch is provided as we dive into meaningful discussions. Registration is required via events@interiorwomenscentre.org.
Each month, we explore powerful narratives and are sometimes lucky enough to be joined by the very authors who inspire us. Join us as we turn pages, spark conversations, and build a community that champions bold, brilliant, and unstoppable women. 📖✨
